Ask one child to spread out the
worship cloth and another child to put the candle in the middle.
Light the candle and ask the group “Why do we light the
candle?” (To acknowledge God’s presence with us.) |

(I always begin on my left and go around the circle.) |

COMMUNION:
Pass the bread and then the cup. Talk about why we take communion.
(I tell them it is to remember Jesus.) While we are taking it
we sing: |

(We repeat this until communion is over.) |

Pass the Peace:
We go around the circle starting on the left, you say the name of
the child sitting on the left and then _________ may the love of
God be with you, go in peace. Then that child says the same thing
to the next child and it goes around the circle. |
